Who We Are & What We Do
Integration Family Services (IFS) was founded at the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic as a grassroots effort by East African childcare providers, parents, and families to create a central network of health, housing, social services, education, and employment resources and trusted support for Somali communities. IFS serves as a regional hub that nurtures and supports individuals, children and families in historically underserved East African immigrant and refugee communities through culturally relevant and language- specific services and programs.
MISSION
THE MISSION OF IFS IS TO ENHANCE THE CAPABILITIES AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY OF MARGINALIZED IMMIGRANT AND REFUGEE COMMUNITIES IN KING COUNTY TO ACHIEVE IMPROVED QUALITY OF LIFE AND REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL THROUGH ACCESS TO, AND ADVOCACY FOR, SERVICES AND RESOURCES THAT WILL KEEP THEM SAFE, HEALTHY AND ACTIVE WHILE PREVENTING FAMILY DISINTEGRATION.
